How to set the language on the Welock smart lock

When you receive a new smart lock, you will need to set the language preference. Here’s how to do it:

Welock Passcode Smart Lock

1. Press the corresponding number key for the language you want to set – 1 for English, 2 for German, and 3 for Simplified Chinese.
2. Press the unlock button in the lower right corner to confirm your selection.
3. Your smart lock will now be set to your preferred language.

Welock Fingerprint Smart Lock

Press the button on the fingerprint lock to switch to the language you want to set, then press and hold the set button for 5s to set it successfully

If you have been using your smart lock for some time and want to change your language preference, you will need to restart your smart lock. Here’s how to do it:
Method 1：

Welock Fingerprint Smart Lock
Press and hold the setting button for 5 seconds to authorize the fingerprint of the administrator, and then press the setting button 10 times to switch the display language. You can switch between English, German, and Chinese (press the setting button).

Welock Passcode Smart Lock
Press the unlock button in the lower right corner then authorize the password of the administrator, and then press the number 5 button to switch to the English language, press the unlock button to choose, then enter 1 to confirm.

Method 2:

1. Use the included pin to insert into the reset hole in the battery compartment to restart the smart lock.
2. Disassemble the battery and reassemble it, the lock will ask the language when restarting the lock, please select the language according to your needs.
3. After restarting, follow the same steps as above to select your preferred language.
